Our purpose
We Believe in Israel facilitates and supports a grassroots network of supporters of Israel in the UK. We provide opportunities for people to engage in constructive dialogue, strengthen community connections and take part in advocacy grounded in facts.
Our work helps supporters become active and feel safe and confident in expressing their support. We seek to ensure that informed voices are represented in political debate, traditional media, online conversation and public events.
We also promote a close relationship between Britain and Israel, built on shared democratic values, mutual understanding and cooperation.
What we believe
Our work is grounded in a broad-tent approach that makes room for different opinions while maintaining clear shared principles.
We believe in the right of the State of Israel to live in peace and security.
We support a close relationship between Britain and Israel based on shared values and interests.
We believe in Israel as a democratic and Jewish state and in the Jewish people's right to self-determination.
We welcome Israel's supporters across political, religious and community backgrounds.
We believe constructive conversation and informed engagement are stronger than confrontation.
We challenge antisemitism, misinformation and efforts to delegitimise the State of Israel.

Leadership
Ido Dimri serves as the Executive Director of We Believe in Israel, leading the organisation's efforts to strengthen the relationship between Israel and Jewish and pro-Israel communities around the world, while advancing the fight against antisemitism and the delegitimisation of the State of Israel.
Prior to assuming this role, Dimri served as Chief of Staff to Israel's Minister for Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism, Amichai Chikli, where he played a key role in promoting strategic initiatives related to Israel-Diaspora relations, the fight against antisemitism, and international advocacy. Earlier in his career, he worked at Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs as part of the international media and communications team, focusing on relations with foreign media outlets, international delegations, and diplomatic messaging.
Dimri brings extensive experience in managing complex projects, building strategic partnerships, and advancing initiatives in both the public and international arenas. In addition to his public service, he regularly appears as a commentator and panellist in the Israeli media on issues relating to foreign policy, society, and international affairs.
As Executive Director of We Believe in Israel, Dimri is leading the organisation's renewal and growth, working to expand support for Israel and strengthen cooperation with leaders, organisations, and communities across the globe.
