About We Believe in Israel

A broad UK movement helping people support Israel through informed advocacy, education, community and practical action.
We bring together supporters from across the Jewish community and welcome people of every faith, denomination and political tradition who share our commitment to Israel’s peace, security and future.

Our purpose

We work to ensure that support for Israel is informed, confident and heard throughout British public life.
We Believe in Israel facilitates and supports a grassroots network of supporters of Israel in the UK. We provide opportunities for people to engage in constructive dialogue, strengthen community connections and take part in advocacy grounded in facts.
Our work helps supporters become active and feel safe and confident in expressing their support. We seek to ensure that informed voices are represented in political debate, traditional media, online conversation and public events.
We also promote a close relationship between Britain and Israel, built on shared democratic values, mutual understanding and cooperation.

What we believe

Our work is grounded in a broad-tent approach that makes room for different opinions while maintaining clear shared principles.

Peace and security

We believe in the right of the State of Israel to live in peace and security.

Britain and Israel

We support a close relationship between Britain and Israel based on shared values and interests.

Democracy and self-determination

We believe in Israel as a democratic and Jewish state and in the Jewish people's right to self-determination.

A broad tent

We welcome Israel's supporters across political, religious and community backgrounds.

Dialogue with confidence

We believe constructive conversation and informed engagement are stronger than confrontation.

Opposing delegitimisation

We challenge antisemitism, misinformation and efforts to delegitimise the State of Israel.
