We Believe in Israel has launched a new public campaign calling on members of the Jewish community, friends of Israel and responsible voices across the United Kingdom to stand with the Israel Defense Forces and reject attempts to turn soldiers into instruments of political delegitimisation.
The campaign responds to the film NAZA, the recognition it has received, and the use of anonymous military testimony and military-related material to portray IDF soldiers as criminals. At a time when Israeli soldiers are defending their country in extraordinarily difficult and complex circumstances, such claims must be approached with context, accountability and transparency.
Why this campaign matters
Anonymous testimony, when presented without sufficient context or scrutiny, can be amplified internationally and used to fuel hostile campaigns against Israel and its soldiers. Awards and international recognition should not provide legitimacy to productions that turn those defending Israel into targets.
The campaign asks supporters to send a clear message:
- Stand with the IDF.
- Reject the misuse of Israeli soldiers for political and ideological purposes.
- Reject attempts to weaponise anonymous testimony against Israel.
- Refuse to remain silent when those defending Israel are portrayed as criminals.
